JP tower in a night
夜のJPタワー/JP tower in a night |
JP tower in a night
JP means "Japan Post", and before the tower construction,
there was a historical post office building next to the Tokyo station.
But, only the economical point of view, they destroy precious architectural
heritage and build office building.
Old building was one of the masterpiece of monism architecture in Japan.

Singing Man
Singing Man |

Singing Man
The man was looking up into the summer sky and singing in a low key.
I imagined that he wanted to going somewhere but it was not true.
He loved singing at his place, as usual.

New, but old school
New, but old school |
New, but old school
This school was build after the 1923 Great Kanto earthquake,

Kiba park and bridge
"Kiba" means "timber basin" in Japanese.
There was a timber basin, and transform it to a park about 20 years ago.
This bridge is connecting two sides of the park, across a river.

Three Noppera-bo
Three Noppera-bou |

Studying boy in Roppongi
Studying boy in Roppongi |
Studying boy in Roppongi
This stature is known as Ninomiya Kinjiro.
You can find it usually in schools.
Why ? See wikipedia pages.
I found it interesting, because the city of Roppongi is
completely different place from the spirit of the stature.

Minami taka bashi (Bridge)
Minami taka bashi (Bridge) |
Minami taka bashi (Bridge)
This bridge is the second oldest one in Tokyo, build in 1931.
In 1923, Great Kanto earthquake attacked Tokyo and a lot of bridge had destroyed.
This bridge is using a less damaged part of Ryogoku Bridge and build, a. kind of recycled.
I always take photo of "Changing Tokyo", but sometimes I try to take "Unchanging Tokyo" like this.
