日枝神社の気に巻いてありました注連縄です。

堂々とした幹に、白い注連縄のアクセント。

力強いですね。

Shimenawa is are lengths of braided rice straw rope used for ritual purification in the Shinto religion, according to Wikipedia.

I took this photo at Hie Jinja shrine, and I was very impressed the strong shape of old tree.

旧　電通本社ビル、丹下健三設計です。
なぜか、以前にアップしたこのビルの写真へのアクセスが
多かったので、夜通りかかった時にもっかい撮っておきました。


Dentsu Tec Building

This building was build for the head quater of Dentsu,
the biggest Ad agency in Japan, designed by Kenzo Tange.
Now, the head quater has moved to new building, and
a Dentsu's subsidiary company is using.

新しく再建された東京駅の天井です。
行ったら、みんな同じようなアングルの天井を撮っているんですよね。
だから、きっとこの画像をGoogleの画像検索に入れると、
似たような写真が大量にヒットすると思います。

でも、この写真は私が撮ったものですよ。
別に勝手に使っていただいても全然OKです。

This is the new Tokyo Station Hall.
Many people were taking photo around there, so I am sure that
many similar photo are uploaded to web.

その西郷さんの足元が、こんなに現代的なガラス張り
商店になるとは思いませんでした。

こうなる前の写真も撮っておけばよかったなあ。

Here, this building is placed under the statue.

Few years ago, there were classical shops, but I did not take the photo of that.

Perhaps this kind of gates (called Torii) are often seen in Kyoto,
but here, we can see it in Tokyo.

すっかり綺麗になっていて、
往時を偲ぶという感じと現代的な感じがミックスされた
良い感じになったと思います。

これは、上野駅の中にあります、朝倉文夫の
「三相 智情意」という彫刻作品。

ちょうど水戸から着いた時に目に飛び込んできて、
思わず惚れぼれとずっと見てしまいました。
実に素晴らしい作品です。

これは、上野駅開業７５年を記念して朝倉文夫から
寄贈されたもののようですね。

The title is "Sanso Chi Jou I"(Three phases, wisdom, emotion, animus)
by Fumio Asakura.

This work was presented by Asakura, for the 75th anniversary of Ueno station.

木場公園の近くに、見慣れない列車が泊まっていました。
ここって、昔、ニッポンレンタカーの支店があったところだったっけ。

「アタゴール」 というレストランだったんですね。
なかなか有名なお店らしいですけど・・・。

今度行ってみようかな。
